For the first time in Uzbekistan, from October 17 to 22, 2019, with the initiation of  Ecological Party of Uzbekistan the international environmental marathon “ARAL MARATHON” will be held, under the motto “We are responsible for the future!”, On the eve of the Aral Conference to be held on October 25 in Nukus, with the participation of the Government Republic of Uzbekistan. The marathon will be held in 6 cities of Uzbekistan: Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Urgench, Nukus and Muynak, with the participation of 20,000 people.

On October 15, 2019, the Central Electoral Commission held a regular meeting in the format of a video selector at the CEC International Press Center, in which CEC members, authorized representatives of political parties, and media representatives took part.

Consistent activity is being carried out to improve the reclamation state of irrigated lands, increase the efficiency of water use, improve the reporting system, as well as strengthen the material and technical base of water management organizations in Fergana, Andijan, Namangan, Kashkadarya, Syrdarya and Surkhandarya regions with the financial assistance of the European Union, within the framework of the program “Sustainable Management of Water Resources in rural areas in Uzbekistan”.

The university is registered in the QS ranking of universities of Eastern Europe and Central Asia for 2020.
This is the result of cooperation of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education with such leading international agencies of the world as Times Higher Education and QS over the past two years in order to increase the international authority of higher education institutions of the country.

On October 7 this year representatives of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan and the Ecological Movement participated in the event: “Air Quality in Tashkent”, a presentation by Anondo Mukherjee, an employee of Sonoma Technology and the US Environmental Protection Agency, which took place in the building of the US Embassy.
