From April 3 to April 4, the Central Asian Conference on Climate Change will be held in Tashkent. The conference brought together about 400 participants and speakers from leading national organizations and departments from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of regional and international organizations, multilateral development banks and civil society organizations.
It is known that in the beginning of 2019 a new page was opened in the political life of the country. An ecological party has been created in Uzbekistan. On March 27, the Tashkent city party organization of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan was registered by the Tashkent Department of Justice.
Namangan regional branch of the Ecological Movement of Uzbekistan in the Makhalla Citizens' Assembly organized a round table on the topic: "Ecological problems of the regions and the participation of citizens in resettlement".
On March 29, Navoi regional branch of the Ecological Movement of Uzbekistan of the Navoi State Pedagogical Institute organized a round table on the topic: “Musaffo tabiat posbonlarimiz” adopted laws in the field of environmental protection.
Navoi regional branch of the Ecological Movement of Uzbekistan in the Navoi State Mining Institute held public hearings aimed at studying the state of execution in the field of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Water and Water Use”.
The Government of Norway and the United Nations Multi-Partner Trust Fund Office in New York signed a Standard Agreement confirming a contribution of NOK 9.5 million (around $1.1 million) to the UN Multi-Partner Human Security Trust Fund for the Aral region in Uzbekistan, the UN information service in Uzbekistan reported.
On March 28, Navoi regional branch of the Ecological Movement of Uzbekistan in the mahallas of the city of Navoi organized ecological raids to study local environmental problems, in particular problems related to the state of collection, storage, removal and disposal of solid household waste.
