The Government of Uzbekistan and the UN agreed on a draft UN special General Assembly resolution on the declaration of the Aral Sea region a zone of ecological innovation and technology. The project was discussed at an international high-level conference "Aral Sea region - a zone of ecological innovations and technologies" held in Nukus on 25 October.
Uzbekistan uses educational institutions of Rosatom to train personnel within the framework of the nuclear energy program, the press service of the Justice Ministry said.
